The Wellness Center will be open tonight as a fresh air cooling station for those who need to get out of the smoke. We will have fans and scrubbers set up to help with air quality in that building. There will be no other services available in the wellness center, and we do ask that you maintain social distancing while in the building.

Degnan’s Kitchen Closed 6/10 Degnan’s Kitchen is closed to the community tomorrow 6/10 in preparation for the opening of operations to park visitors. Degnan’s Kitchen will reopen to the community and park visitors on 6/12. Breakfast Hours: 7 am 11 am; Lunch/Dinner: 12 pm 6 pm. Please note The Loft at Degnan’s is closed for the season.

Friday 5/15 was the last park community call for the time being. You can still submit questions and concerns at https://clicktime.symantec.com/3BDUma3q3vxVqv45x1MXG5S7Vc. Currently the park is planning to post any smaller updates on the website as well, likely on Thursdays. Yosemite Hospitality will continue to post updates in housing areas and on this page when new information is available.... As Mariposa County moves to Stage 2.5, some modifications have been made to the closure order. - PCT through hikers with valid permits can hike through Yosemite. Likely you won’t see them. Many have canceled or altered their trips, but there are some. - Residents of El Portal administrative site can enter the park for recreation. - The requirement to remain in districts for recreation has been lifted. - Yosemite West is included as a group able to recreate in the park.

Here are a few updates: On Thursday, May 7 at noon Governor Newsom will address the state of California’s next steps. This presentation can be viewed on several platforms, including Facebook.com/CAgovernor. On Thursday, May 7 at 6 pm Mariposa County Public Health will host a Facebook Live event covering COVID-19 updates as well as the county's eventual transition to stage 2. Starting 04/28/2020, Park Rangers will begin removing bicycles that appear abandoned within Yosemite Valley. The Rangers will focus on areas that are outside of and away from employee housing areas. Park Rangers will be looking for bikes that have; Deteriorating, cracked, or flat tire(s) Excessive rust... Covered in cobwebs, leaves, or duff Missing or broken parts like wheels, handlebars, seat, chain, shifters, brakes etc. Bent rim(s) Otherwise in a condition that is not roadworthy If you own a bicycle that rangers impound, please contact the Valley Rangers at (209) 372-0224 during normal business hours. Thank you for doing your part to help keep Yosemite looking great!

YH Employee Update for 4/10. Continue to recreate in your area, so if you live in Yosemite Valley that should be your area to recreate/exercise while maintaining social distancing of at least 6 feet. The gate pass process is no longer in effect. YH employees will just need to show YH ID and have a park resident sticker on car for gate entrances. ... Have a nice weekend!
