I know it is the time of year many of us "start" something to kick off a fitness goal. Please remember these few and simple things. *Starting is easy, continuing is hard. KEEP ON WORKING. *Set small attainable goals. Smash that goal then set another. *If you get set back START AGAIN. Do not wait until Jan 1st 2022! You can start anything at anytime!! Then see number 1..KEEP ON WORKING! *DO NOT REWARD YOURSELF WITH FOOD! Food rewards are an awesome way to train your dogs. N...OT YOU! Reward yourself with something fun or a new pair of pants a day hike or day spa(when you can do that again) *Listen to those who encourage you and quit listening to those that don't! *FOR FUCKS SAKE only buy into an eating program that you can make into a lifestyle! MLM's that guarantee weight loss but tell you to eat their junk food is just that JUNK. YES I know you lost weight by buying into the program but can you sustain that...if so then power to you. However I have seen so many people get on a kick just to go right back to telling me a year later "I have tried everything and nothing works". This is because you can not and sometimes should not be on those programs long term. Read the ingredients! If there is a bunch of crap you can not pronounce it probably should not be in your body! *Here is a last one..."My metabolism has slowed down...so there is nothing I can do"...WELLLLLLL...there is 2 parts to this and some different schools of thought. Yes maybe our metabolism does slow a lil but how much have YOU slowed down? Are you as active as you were in high school, when you worked, how you worked. The truth of aging is WE slow down too...not just our metabolism! The combo of our bodies not moving as much and the amount our metabolism slows is what increases fat and or weight gain. *In summery..stay active, eat clean, adopt an eating style and a workout routine that fits into YOUR lifestyle and things will be so much easier...AND CONTINUE!! Maybe it is time to wake this page up again! What say you!? Should I rename? As soon as we get the green light to go Orange in Sacramento we will be able to gather safely for small group sessions or yoga classes in the parks and perhaps in our Breweries. I would also love to do donation based classes for things like Animal welfare and feeding the hungry. WHAT SAY YOU!? You in?
