Nancy Pape (Skjoldager/Bartkowiak) passed away peacefully among family members on October 26, 2018. She battled breast cancer for 4.5 years. Professionally, she was a paralegal for Comdisco for many years and was instrumental in building WrestlingGear.Com prior to its recent sale. She was an avid fan of all her sons’ sports teams. Two of her sons currently play for the Chicago Blues and Wolfpack/Timberwolves Hockey Club. They are expected to wrestle for Frost Jr High and Cona...nt High School this winter. Nancy was mother to Dylan (25), Jackson (14) and Alec (13). She was an Aunt to 16 nephews and nieces. She is survived by Mother (Patricia), Sister (Sue Ann), Brothers (William and Edward) and Husband (Jeff). She was preceded in death by her Father Virgil Bartkowiak and her Nephew Ian Bartkowiak. Viewing will be at Countryside Funeral Home - 1640 S Green Meadows Blvd, Streamwood, IL 60107. Monday November 5th from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6th 10:00 a.m. Brief Service at Funeral Home Followed by a Brunch. Everyone is welcome to attend the Brunch to further celebrate Nancy’s life. In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to The Pape Foundation, NFP PO Box 68098 Schaumburg, IL 60168 The Pape Foundation, NFP is a 501 C (3) organization. Money will be used to support others battling cancer. Nancy unfortunately knew firsthand the cost of battling cancer and wanted to support families with future battles. Several families have asked how they could support the family after we have posted the original information. We will use gifts given to her GoFundMe page to support her children's future expenses.
