Happy New Year everyone! Thank you all for being a part of our 2018 and making it a really memorable year. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our efforts in any way. Those who followed our page, liked, or shared our messages. Those who visited us, donated, raised awareness, marched, defended or just had us in their thoughts. We look forward to continuing the fight for our most vulnerable communities in 2019!

We are excited to announce that Dr. Rebecca Plevin has been appointed Director of the San Francisco Wraparound Project. Dr. Plevin has long supported Wraparound efforts and will work to shed light on the effects of social inequities on health outcomes. We look forward to continuing to fight the good fight with Dr. Plevin at the helm. https://bit.ly/2PmIuUu

So excited for the unveiling of our latest mural. We are grateful to the many groups who made this a reality. To our clients who expressed themselves in the mural and brought light and laughter to our center. To Marco Razo, our resident artist who worked tirelessly to instruct clients and accommodate their schedules. To our case managers for consistently developing innovative programming to engage clients. To Zuckerberg San Francisco General for the endless support and for p...roviding the space to create and display our work, especially in a location that means so much to our project and our clients. To the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation for their tireless outreach on our behalf and for always believing in us. To Bank of America without whose funding we could not have completed this project. The entire process was truly a labor of love and we could not be more grateful to our team. See more

Today, we marched for communities where violence is an everyday issue. Our kids deserve to be safe. Our communities deserve to be invested in. #WhyDoYOUMarch? #ViolenceIsAPublicHealthIssue #HVIP #WearOrange

We at Wraparound believe that violence is preventable. On National Gun Violence Awareness Day (Saturday, June 2nd), we'll be joining our friends at Moms Demand SF to march to end gun violence. We're proud to sponsor this event and look forward to raising our voices for vulnerable communities.

Proud to have our work highlighted in this op-ed by the American Psychiatric Association. Wraparound is an effective and cost-effective approach to violence reduction. Our model has been successfully replicated nationally and internationally and exemplifies the efficacy of the public health approach to violence reduction. It is impossible to discuss gun violence without discussing black bodies. It is impossible to discuss gun violence without discussing the criminalization of black bodies. Samuel, Oakland #EnoughIsEnough #ViolenceIsPreventable #ViolenceIsAHealthIssue

One of the resources we are grateful to provide is an art program. This program, led by Marco Razo allows clients to learn and practice fundamentals of art. Through this program, clients have become open to other interventions and have been able to showcase their work across San Francisco. The San Francisco Examiner highlights the program and Marco Razo in this article. https://violenceprevention.surgery.ucsf.edu//Art-Program-H
