Introducing our new Dinner & A Movie series! Every month, we’ll be watching a different thought-provoking, inspiring film and joining together over zoom towards the end of the month to talk about the film and enjoy dinner together. January’s film will be The Blind Side, a story of a high school football player who overcame an impoverished upbringing with the help of his adoptive parents, eventually earning a spot in the National Football League (NFL). The movie highlights themes of generosity, racism, poverty, and of course, football. Feel free to watch the movie at home any time before our Zoom debrief & dinner on Thursday, January 28th at 6pm. January At-Home Lunch Making Service Project! Join us from the comfort of your home in making sack lunches for Harbor House to distribute to our community members in need! From January 23rd - 29th, WPC will be providing 190 sack lunches for Harbor House to distribute throughout the week. Souper Bowl Sunday is 1 month away! On Sunday, February 7th from 9:45-10:45am, Westminster Presbyterian Church will be collecting canned food donations at our Souper Bowl Sunday Drive-Thru Food Drive! Decorate your car with your winning Super Bowl team and bring your canned food to donate! Food will be donated to our local Manna Food Pantry. We pray for discernment so that we may choose leaders who hear your Word, live your love, and keep in the ways of your truth as they follow in the steps of Jesus and his Apostles and guide us to your Kingdom of justice and peace.... We ask this in the name of your Son Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit." Amen ~

Happy November! Do you have an abundance of leftover Halloween Candy you need to get out of the house? Westminster Presbyterian Church is collecting leftover, sealed, Halloween Candy to be donated to Harbor House! Each week, Harbor House provides sack lunches for any neighbor in need of a meal, and they’d love to slip in a sweet treat with the lunches made. Feel free to drop-off your leftover Halloween Candy at Westminster Presbyterian Church anytime Tuesday, November 3-6. There will be a basket out front of the WPC office all day, you are welcome to come drop-off your donation anytime, and we’ll take care of getting the candy to Harbor House. What a wonderful way to bring some of the Halloween Spirit to our neighbors in need!

Junior High & High Schoolers! Join us outside on the WPC Grass Lawn for a Movie Night! On Friday, November 13th at 7:00pm we'll be watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Be sure to bring your own chairs and blankets, we'll provide the snacks! Feel free to invite a friend to the outdoor movie night. The Halloween fun continues! Today and tomorrow, our WPC Preschool classes are hosting outdoor Halloween Parades for parents to come take a peek at their costumes. Here's a peek into today's parades!

Help us provide 100 families in need a Thanksgiving Dinner! This Thanksgiving Season, we're partnering with Lutheran Social Services to donate 100 Ralph’s Gift Cards for families in need. Our Deacons will be purchasing $45 gift cards to be donated, but we need your help! If you'd like to donate, we'll have a table set-up at our In-Person service for you to drop a donation. The gift cards will be placed inside handmade wreaths made by children, families, and adults of WPC.

You'll be invited to make two homemade wreaths, one that will used to display our Thanksgiving Gift Cards the church is donating to families in need, and the other for you to take home. A friendly reminder that this Sunday, we will be holding our annual Hope & Remembrance Service, both online and in-person. We are currently collecting names of loved ones who have passed in the past year, to be lifted up in prayer during the service.
