For those of you who knew Virgil Gray.
For the 10th and final installment for this first season of "a Teen Center story", we hear from Sheila Lara Guevara, a former teen, former volunteer, former and now current (again) neighbor, and always friend. Thanks for watching, loving, sharing, and supporting us with these! They were fun and inspiring. Be on the lookout for other videos soon!
Morena Aviles, one of our current Kaleo students, shares how a conversation with one of our Teen Center volunteers completely changed her life. First "a Teen Center story" of the year! Welcome to 2019. @World Impact Teen Center #ATeenCenterStory #kaleoteens #empowerment #changemindset #worldimpactinc #socal #southerncalifornia #losangeles #la #layouth #lateens #losangelesteens #southla #southlateens #southlayouth #losangelesyouth
The last one of the year, but not the last one to come! This "a Teen Center story" is from our friend, neighbor, and also parent of some of our teens. She has had 3 youth come through our ministry, and another one still to come. Iliana Lara is a blessing to everyone who knows her, and we are so blessed to be in community with her. Happy Holidays! #ATeenCenterStory #kaleoteens #empowerment #changemindset #knowyourself #freshopportunities #worldimpactinc #socal #southerncalifornia #worldimpactla
Bryan met Marco as a Junior Higher. They live on the same street. Bryan has seen him go through a LOT of life's curveballs, so it's encouraging to have this testimony on video. Enjoy the 7th "a Teen Center story". World Impact Teen Center
For the sixth post of "a Teen Center story" we will hear from Valeska PeƱate, a former student and current volunteer. She served as a summer counselor at the Oaks Camp & Conference Center this summer and transitioned from that experience into working with us here! Please share this!
For the fifth installment of "a Teen Center story", we feature Gerson Morales, a former mentee of Bryan Cullison that he met when Gerson was just a 6th grader and Bryan was his new Discipleship Group Leader at the Los Angeles Christian School. Little did they know they would continue that journey of friendship 10+years now, as they both serve on the Teen Center Ministry Team!
The fourth episode of "a Teen Center story" features Tanya Garcia, former Teen Center teen and current volunteer. She is actually working offsite for the Oaks Camp & Conference Center as well. A few weeks after filming this, her family's home burned and they will have to rebuild from the ground up. Would you please consider giving to their GoFundMe to help them get the necessary things they need to live every day (clothing, food, toiletries, etc.)? http://bit.ly/RamosGoFundMe

Last month the Teen Center ministry finished its RenewLA Partnership for the Spring cohort. We taught 25 youth coding, photography, and videography. Many thanks to Matt Jones, one of our volunteers, who did this culmination video for us:
To our supporters, who DON'T GO UNNOTICED OR UNAPPRECIATED....we THANK YOU! Without you, we would not be able to continue to offer classes, mentor the incarcerated, take kids to camp, or coach church planters. World Impact, Inc. #thankyou #worldimpact #worldimpactla
The first in a video series entitled "a Teen Center story" was published today! This inaugural one features Leo Jimenez. Enjoy, and share! https://vimeo.com/276143363
