The Woodland Chamber Singers will once again participate in the Big Day of Giving on May 7, 2020. The pandemic has proven how important the Performing Arts, specifically the joining of voices in song to our daily lives! Our continued mission to give the gift of music and music education to our community through our combined voices in song will continue once we can gather to rehears and perform. Woodland Chamber Singers will be participating in the 2020 Big Day of Giving. 24 Hours to Give Where Your Heart Is BIG DAY OF GIVINGFRIDAY, MAY 3, 2019 What is Big Day of Giving?... A program of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation's initiative to grow philanthropy in the capital area, Big Day of Giving is a 24-hour online giving challenge that brings together the region's nonprofit community to help raise much needed unrestricted funds and shine a spotlight on the work nonprofits do to make the Sacramento region the place we call home. Since inception, these giving days have generated nearly $40 million for nonprofits in the capital area. When is Big Day of Giving? Next year’s Big Day of Giving is Thursday, May 7, 2020 and it is made possible by the hard work of local nonprofits and the dedication of their supporters.
