We understand that you might be scared of the dentist as is, and therefore we want to assure you that you need not fear catching the COVID virus when you come visit us! . We have new protocols in place, and we are prepared to provide you a safe dental visit. . Protocols:... . The patient will call us upon arrival. Patients will be required to wear a mask prior to entering the office. . At check in, patients will be asked to fill out the COVID questionnaire, temperature will me measured with TOUCHLESS THERMOMETER, they will sign the consent form. . The patient will then be passed to the back, where the operatory will be ready for them. They will first be required to WASH THEIR HANDS FOR 20 seconds, RINSE WITH HYDROGEN PEROXIDE MIX FOR 1min, and then be seated in their designated treatment chair. . The front office staff checking in will be wearing glasses/face shield and gloves to protect themselves and pts from cross contamination. Everything that the pt touched will be wiped clean as soon as the pt is passed in the back. . The assistant and doctors will be wearing - scrubs, disposable gowns, n-95 & surgical mask, face shield, glasses, haircap, and gloves while working with the patients. . Air purifiers are placed in each operatory to clear the air and pick up aerosols & particles. Isolite suction will be used on each patient to minimize the aerosols. . We will only be scheduling 1 patient at a time (which we always did before as well) to prevent cross contamination and to give adequate time with the patients. . Payment will be collected over the phone, prior to the appointment to minimize human interaction. . Employees will be screened for COVID daily, office will be disinfected multiple times during the day, and proper sterilization protocols will be practiced. . All thumbs up at his 6 month checkup. No cavities means dad's happy, kid is happy and the dentist is happy! Santa might even bring an extra present this month. . @woodcrestdentalstudio is open for all dental services including hygiene checks, cleanings and dental treatment.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here!

Root canal day at the practice today with our very best - Dr. Karia (Dr. K2 as we like to call him). . Our practice is & will remain open with the current COVID-19 protocols in place through the month of December. We realize that there is a stay at home order in place currently, but according to @cdadentists guidelines, we will remain open to address all the dental needs & help dental emergencies stay away from the ER.

It’s ‘thanks’ giving season and this year we gave thanks to our health heroes. . We donated N-95 masks, Face Shields and Hazmat Suits to @kp_riverside today. We are truly thankful to all the health heroes fighting on the front lines as Covid-19 cases continue to rise and as the pandemic thrives! . It’s been a tough year with lots of uncertainties! And as we suspect curfews & lockdowns in the forthcoming weeks due to the pandemic, we are thankful to have been able to celebrate Friendsgiving with our team today. . We are unsure if we will be able to celebrate Christmas & The New Years this year... but we are doing our best to live in the moment and not let the pandemic bring our spirit down!
