After a conversation with some members of the public, I realized there are many people that do not know about or are not utilizing In CASE OF EMERGENCY (ICE) Contacts. The setup and use of in case of emergency contacts are a vital tool utilized by emergency responders to locate loved ones in the event of an emergency. These contacts can be accessed by emergency responders when your phone is locked, so we can notify your family if you were involved in an accident and what hospital you were transported to. There are many ways of setting up these emergency contacts and it will depend on your type of phone. Just do a google search for your type of phone and you will find all the information needed. I’m sure everyone would want to know if their loved ones were sick or injured and were unable make a phone call themselves.
