Research has shown that domestic violence within the LGBTQ+ community occurs at rates equal to or higher than heterosexual couples. Further, people who are transgender experience disproportionate rates of violence, particularly trans people of color. These statistics highlight the importance of inclusive services and care for all victims and survivors #WHW2D Visit our website to download our 31-day DVAM calendar: WSLB.org/DVAM20

There are many reasons why someone may cause harm in an intimate partner relationship. However, abuse is never the answer or justified. A key component in preventing future violence is providing the tools and support to those causing harm, so that they can unlearn unhealthy behaviors #WHW2D Visit our website to download our 31-day DVAM calendar: WSLB.org/DVAM20
