Today the Lord encouraged me to pull as Scripture card for all of us at WCF. I did so and the Scripture was from James 5:16: "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." Remember you have been made righteous by the Blood of the Lord and by the power of His Holy Spirit so you can trust in this truth: your prayers are powerful and effective. Therefore we can approach Go...d's throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace in our time of need. Let us continue to pray in Jesus' Name, that God will protect all of us, our families and friends, and our holy priests and all whom we love and pray for. May He protect and heal us physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially. May the people of God, who are called by His Name, humble themselves and pray and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways, so He will hear from heaven, forgive sin, and heal our land. Here’s some pics from our beautiful Christmas luncheon. As always, there was so much joy as we gathered to celebrate the birth of our Lord! Thank you to Deacon Steve Greco and Fr. Mike Barry for their messages of hope and their witness to Jesus’ presence in our lives.

A quick reminder.. next week is our last lesson for the year! Is that unbelievable or what? We will have Thanksgiving Day off, of course, and then on December 5th we will have our annual Christmas luncheon at the Hilton Garden Inn. If you haven't signed up for that yet, be sure to do so quickly. Our speaker is Deacon Steve Greco and it is sure to be a wonderful time of praise and fellowship!

Our Mass on Thursday was amazing. We focused our readings on the importance of the Eucharist in our lives (and discerning the Real Presence of Jesus within). Before we even started the Mass a praise was given about a healing of cancer when someone came into the Church and received their first Eucharist. Truly astounding how the Lord was confirming this truth!! Now we await your praise report of what God did for you at the Mass!!

Great minds think alike. Love Jesus-check! Growing in the Word- check! Filled with joy and zeal-check! Shop at the same store so you can accidentally wear nearly identical outfits- check! We’re learning a lot as we read the letters to seven Churches of Revelation. Today we still must discern false teachers and battle the Jezebel spirit. But we who persevere in the Lord and keep our first love for Him will receive many eternal rewards. Come next week to hear what the Spirit is saying to the remaining Churches!

Our registration day was filled with great joy as we gathered together to worship the Lord and have fellowship. I’ve been busy all week sorting all of you into your small groups so expect a call from your new discussion leader tomorrow!! If you didn’t come last week, it’s not too late! You are always welcome. We warmly invite you to come this Thursday, at 9:30 to sign up for our prayerful study of the Book of Revelation.

It's that time of year again!! Our registration day for the new school year is next Thursday, Sept 12 at 9:30 at St. Elizabeth Seton. We will be studying the Revelation to John. Please join us to register, have some fellowship and a light breakfast! Fr. Mike Barry S.S.C.C., our spiritual adviser, will give us some words of encouragement to kick off the new year. As a reminder, we ask for a $30 donation to cover operating costs throughout our school year so bring your checkbooks/cash. Also, keep in mind that registration day is very important in that only when you register are you sorted into your small group. This will be a day of joy as we gather again to love and serve the Lord and each other!

We had a lovely summer pot-blessing lunch where we were able to enjoy some fellowship and worship together. Fr Mike Barry spoke with us about the Keys to the Kingdom which involved a teaching about the beatitudes. It also served as an opportunity to bless our teacher and leader, Angie Lake, for her birthday!

Can you believe it? Our summer "pot-blessing" lunch is coming up this week! We will gather at St. Elizabeth's (in the conference center) at 10:00 am for fellowship, praise and worship, and to hear Fr. Mike Barry speak on "The Keys to the Kingdom of God". Bring a dish to share and a friend! We are always looking to bring new women to our WCF community to share in the joy of praising Jesus and growing in relationship with Him through the prayerful study of Scripture. We will be taking registrations for our upcoming school year and for our 2020 retreat as well. See you Thursday!

We always have a fantastic year end luncheon, but I don't think I spoke with a single person who didn't just love our praise and worship and the presentations from Fr. Mike Barry and Ann Vucic last Thursday. We really got a sense of how much God is doing in the world especially through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin and Mother Mary. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy, our Youtube video will post soon and you'll definitely want to share it with others! We will be on break for the summer but will have our usual "pot-blessing" lunch on July 11 at St. Elizabeth in our usual meeting area. Bring a dish to share and enjoy some summer fellowship. Also, you may register for the next school year at that time. We will be studying the Book of Revelation!

Yesterday was a day of victory as we finished our study of the Gospel of Luke. Many of us felt like we had a "mountain top" experience and anointing of the Holy Spirit as we praised the Lord for all He's done for us. I got this small clip of "Shine Jesus Shine" and it goes forth from us as a prayer that Jesus will shine in each of us and set our hearts on fire like the disciples on the road to Emmaus!
