That’s my pal, Matt. A true coin nerd like me. He has always had great taste in coins.

A really ugly stripped and processed Seated Liberty Half. Just a widget. No patina, color, anything relating to originality. Heavy duty chemicals. Kinda like taking sandpaper to a 200 year old desk or a vintage car. Stay away from coins like this.

Yesterday, at the shop.

Nice group of rattlers that we bought last week in the shop. Rattler is the term given to the first kind of holders that PCGS came out with. These were from 1986 to 1989.

Just placed this beast of a coin with a local collector. Very rare date in uncirculated condition. Practically unheard of in Gem condition like this coin.
