Our 3rd grade social distanced Shabbat service was a great success! We loved seeing our families from a safe distance! Shabbat Shalom everyone!
TK loves splatter paint! They made a tablecloth for Shabbat! How sweet!
Our TK and Pre-K students practiced quilling which works their fine motor skills by using a pencil as the tool to curl a strip of paper. Then, they had to twirl a thin piece of paper over and over until it became a spiral. As a group they added to the canvas to produce a piece of art!
Our TK students are learning about complex patterns. Using hand-eye coordination and small muscle control, they created mask chains following a pattern of their choice. The idea came from the children after they read the book The Mask Mitzvah. Wearing a mask is a mitzvah, and having the chain is a good reminder to keep it on!
