Supporting Fresno families in need, along with Fresno County, RH Community Builders, and UPHoldings, Wings was honored to provide Welcome Home Baskets to 165 households moving into the new Crossroads shelter. Thank you Wings donors and volunteers for your hard work on this project!

The lovely Fresno Bee obituary for Karen was included with a donation Wings received.

Our beloved friend and Wings founder, Karen Goodman, passed away September 8th. Her passion for social justice, compassion for children, and tenacious fighting spirit made Wings what it is today. She contributed her talents to many, many other causes over a lifetime of service. Our hearts are heavy but our spirits are full of gratitude for having known Karen. Our thoughts are with her husband Al and family.

Wings warehouse will be open today, Saturday, June 20, 8am- 11am to accept your donations! Please keep in mind the following when bringing your donations to the warehouse. 1. To respect social distancing, our volunteers will not be assisting with unloading donations at this time. Please plan accordingly when bringing your donations in. 2. If you enter the warehouse, you MUST wear a mask. 3. All donations smaller than a piece of furniture need to be bagged or boxed when del...ivered. 4. We are accepting volunteers as well, but will not be accepting drop-in volunteers at this time.
