Our founder Paul Kalemkiarian Sr turns 92 today! . He is still telling incredible stories from back in the day, each with a deep-rooted wine history. I am blessed to have him around, recalling how he started the whole "wine in the mail" industry, the significance of California wine, and many others (follow the link https://bit.ly/2T8FiQC to listen to my three Wine Talks Podcast episodes with him as the guest). . In 1974, he dragged my teenage self up to Napa to gather wine a...ntiques...we went in a borrowed station wagon with non-functioning windows, with a box of buttermilk donuts and water. I am sure I was complaining the whole way...but I still cherish those memories (and have kept those antiques)! In light of the birthday spirit I am putting everything we have from Napa on sale.
