Life.... what an interesting ride it is. When I got into this business 6 years ago I could never have imagined what kind of journey it would be. What started out as a part time job quickly grew into a full time ambition that I have enjoyed every second, despite some very hard times. It is in these hard times that I thought I wouldn’t possibly make it through that I grew the most. We get really uncomfortable the moment before we are ready to level up. So what I’ve learned to... do, with much practice and constant reminders, is to simply TRUST. Trust in the journey, trust in the plan, be ok with not knowing...be calm while I am awaiting the answers I seek. Even when it goes against everything natural within me, to want to have control and to want to know what’s next, I know then more than ever to sit and be still and wait for what’s meant for me to know to come to me. I read a saying once that has stuck with me for several years. It said, Before you can be anything else, you must first be a beginner. We all can’t stand to keep feeling like we are making mistakes, however, mistakes mean you are trying something new. I have always been a positive person and on the days I struggle to stay afloat I look to find humor and joy more often then not. I like to think that’s what has made even the worst days a little more joyful. Plus, you never know who you may see throughout your day and the only smile they see is yours.
