Our new Carbon Fiber Stingers are here! These are made with 100% Carbon Fiber Prepreg at our production facility here in Orange, California. The T3 Carbon Fiber Stinger has the same geometry as the previous model, but features a reinforced tip and embossed "whoosh" logo. The 42mm Carbon Fiber Stinger is all new! It features the same tip shape as the T3 version but tapers to fit the smaller diameter kneel of the Sport 3 and U2.... Both are lighter then the stock 7075 Aluminum version. They are available as stand alone parts or as upgrades for new glider purchases.

I'd originally planned on flying Rampart (Snoqualmie Pass) today with the Washington hang glider gangs, but last minute decided to joined Joey Villaflor (from Eugene) to fly Yaquina Head since its less than 2 hrs drive for the both of us. I have never flown Yaquina Head north side, so thanks to Ray B , Craig D, Gerg K , Paraglider Josh and Bill for provided me with landing location tips. We arrived launch around 1pm and it was blowing approx 13-18 mph straight up NNW wind. Joey launched first and we both got up easily and can fly to highway 101. Maximum altitude was 550 ft above launch. BTW, north launch is only 250 ft MSL (south launch is 400ft). The winds got much stronger after an hour later (25+ mph at 800ft) and l felt my Freedom wing couldn't penetrate much, so went in for landing. Joey followed me and we both landed close to the 68th St beach which is easy access to the road. We both had a blast flying north side of Yaquina Head today. The launch was much better than the south side (top landable for hang glider too) and really close to the gate. This is a the cell phone photos and I'll post Gopro videos and photos later. BTW, Yaquina Head forecast looks promising tomorrow too.
