Coming to you in July! Save the dates. July 18 and 19!
When I lived in Santa Monica/LA/SFV, I attended theater/dance regularly at the Music Center in LA. I am embarrassed to say that I have never been to see the In...ternational City Theatre - despite it being, literally, five minutes away at the Beverly O'neill Theater, Long Beach Entertainment & Convention Center. ! So, thank you to Caryn Desai, Artistic Director, and Gail Wasil, Vice President of the Board of Directors, for speaking at our Willmore City Heritage Association General Meeting. Because of their generosity, Jim Danno and I won the raffle and will be attending their production of Lady Day. You should go too! https://ictlongbeach.org/2019-season/ See more
We were so happy that people enjoyed the event and the tea! Willmore City Heritage Association
I am so ecstatic. Sitting on the couch, ruminating about my Saturday, I just realized is that the Long Beach Suffrage 100 gave me an audience of Suffragists. ...I performed my show for Suffragists. Looking up at the tiers in the theater, it was women in white with sashes and hats and celebrating the enfranchisement of women. I am truly overwhelmed. Thank you. I will never forget that. See more
A kickoff event to the 100th Anniversary of Women's Suffrage.
Please be aware that parking at the Amphitheater is limited. We recommend walking, Ubering, or biking. There is street parking, and parking at Cesar Chavez elementary school on 3rd and Golden. See you soon! #lbsuffrage100 #teawithaliceandme #lbsuffrage100inauguralprocession

Alex Iles and an all-star ensemble turned the Cesar Chavez Park Amphitheater into a hot jazz club the other night, courtesy of the Willmore City Heritage Association and the Long Beach Symphony.
