To the greater Willits and Mendocino County Communities: We (Willits Community Services and Food Bank) have just become aware that our phone number, 707.459.3333 has been hacked and has recently been used as part of a phone scam that attempts to get credit card information from people. PLEASE BE AWARE that WCS has absolutely no involvement in this scheme and would never do anything like this. We are here, and have been here for over 37 years serving our community and trying t...o help people, not take advantage of them. Please report any suspicious activity like this to the Willits Police Department 707.459.6122, the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office 707.463.4411, or your local law enforcement agency. ALSO BE ADVISED that blocking our number will not stop these criminals, since they are just using our number to fool people into answering. They will then most likely "steal" another local number to continue their scam. Please call US at the real 707.459.3333 with any questions or concerns regarding this. Winter Fund Drive 2017

A few images of our wonderful Willits tradition. This year the event was made possible by the hard and excellent work of Parlin Fork Conservation Camp which cooked the turkeys, stuffing and mashed potatoes for this event. WCS could not have accomplished this event without the help of Parlin Fork. Special Thanks go out to all the inmates and staff of Parlin Fork. A Very special THANKS to Mr. Sanchez and Mr. Rodriguez, the lead cooks AND to officer James Whittaker and officer Dan Tangren and officer Nixon for their enthusiastic support of this event. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU for everyone who attended and supported the idea of all of us being able to come together and celebrate our blessings as a community. AND Thank you to the more than 60 volunteers that helped make this event possible.

28th Annual Willits Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Thursday, Nov. 23 from 11 am - 3 pm at Willits Senior Center, 1501 Baechtel Rd., Willits. Anyone may eat for free at this event. There is no charge. Donations gladly accepted. Come celebrate and give thanks as a community!
