As part of our services to assist job seekers with retaining jobs, we offered a new webinar on Being a C.O.R.E. Employee. C.O.R.E. stands for Capable, Organized, Reliable and Empowered. Attendees participated in discussions about why employers are looking for employees with these four attributes and how they can brand themselves as C.O.R.E. employees who bring value to organizations and teams. ... One job seeker was concerned about the fear of going back to work after 15 years. WHW Operations Manager, Alma Ubina, shared a favorite quote by Nelson Mandela, It always seems impossible until it's done. Everyone agreed that this was a great way to start 2021! #OrangeCounty #Nonprofit #CareerDevelopment #JobTraining #JobSearchHelp #WorkforceDevelopment

Confidence can sometimes be difficult for #jobseekers, particularly if they have been unemployed for some time and yet, confidence is such an important aspect of finding a good job. One attendee shared, The confidence webinar was so helpful and I took a lot of notes! I've been struggling with self-confidence, but feel like a lot of useful skills were presented. I logged off the webinar feeling m...ore confident than I have for the past several months. Thank you! #OrangeCounty #Nonprofit #CareerDevelopment #JobTraining #JobSearchHelp #WorkforceDevelopment
