The WCHS Community's hearts are saddened by the loss of Patricia (Luna) Henry (Class of ‘89). She went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 3, 2021. Please pray for her 4 daughters, as they mourn the loss of their beloved Mother. She was a beautiful person and wrote this poem, published in the ‘89 yearbook. The year is coming to an end and we will ring in 2021 soon! We want to share this message with you. Every WCHS student who walks our halls finishes their time here with a story to call their own. At Whittier Christian, our work is about partnering to write those stories as our students journey though discovery, exploration and growth in relationship with each other, with mentors and with God. Our teachers, coaches and support staff all play a key role in shaping these stories... and count it as a true privilege to do so. However, we know for many students being part of the WCHS Community and writing their story with us is not a possibility without the support of our generous donors like you. By giving to WCHS, you are helping a student journey with us as they write their story. Psalm 118:1a serves as a great reminder of God's goodness. At the same time it calls us to give thanks together for his faithfulness through good times and bad, and for his blessings during both. As a school community let us be thankful for the challenges of 2020 and His faithfulness through it all!
