HAD NO IDEA THE ORIGIN OF THIS WORD: Taupe ( /top/ TOHP) is a dark gray-brown color. The word derives from the French noun taupe meaning "mole". The name originally referred only to the average color of the French mole, but beginning in the 1940s, its usage expanded to encompass a wider range of shades. ***Our Pico Blvd, Harvard Heights e-comm studio featuring @nicole_rucker - #hempatwork

We’ve decided to do a giveaway! Since no one knew what a contrast bartack was until Memorial Day 2016 when we decided to start making aprons out of the garage (and let’s be honest, for at least 6 months after that) we’ve decided to raffle off our first piece of bartack art. If you’ve ordered an apron or hat in the last 2 months you’ve helped us add some color to this piece. Before we start each apron, we check the machine with a test bartack- this is what we’ve made : To e...nter: 1. follow @whitebarkworkwear 2. Tag two friends who’s neck strap is killing them. Giveaway is open worldwide and will close on Saturday May 29 at 8 PM PST. Winner will be announced on Tuesday June 1st.Good luck!

If you haven’t heard of @a_place_they_call_heaven , you may be already be baking with their wheat. This caption via Garrett Moon, 5th generation sustainable wheat farmer in Washington State: A hard red winter wheat. It's dry farmed and no-tilled, as is all our grain. Which means that there's no supplemental irrigation, it uses only natural precipitation, carefully gathered through a fallow season and preserved by not tilling the land. Then we fall seed a wheat crop so it grows over our wetter winter season here, and we'll harvest it in July #hempatwork #yourclothingandfoodaregrowninthesamesoil
