Can’t thank Kim of PilotsNPaws for flying all these kitties to safety to us! We rescued 20 kitties yesterday who were all slated for euthanasia. Thank you to everyone who makes this happen far and near!!

I am astounded on the response to help Pepper the 13 year old Doodle. She is now in her new forever home and will have a caring new family to love her!! Thank you Kim R. for opening your heart and home to this older girl in need!!!! Thank you Kay for helping put this all together!!

Not an impossibly hard dog to foster. She needs in my opinion time, patience and some exercise to begin to come around. IF you are that person this girl has no time left!! Email me quickly please. [email protected] Our foster team is very supportive and can offer tips and ideas that have worked well with other dogs like her. She has 1 full day left now.

Clarence - We have dubbed him Lord Clarence as he is a small, shy, regal sitting gentleman who at first will lure you in with his neon green eyes and then make you fall in love with him with his gentle nudges and purring. Clarence is the sweetest little guy - he can still be a bit jumpy at sudden movements & loud noises but once he gets comfortable he will just curl up in your lap and be so happy and content. He is curious and likes to play with the foil kitty balls - he r...uns and jumps and is very active when he has the zoomies. Otherwise he just naps in his bed and pretty much keeps to himself. He does not have a mean bone or an ounce of hostile spirit in his body. He has been air swiping playing with the other cat in the house, but he never has shown any aggression or ill will towards the other cat or humans. He is friendly with other people when they come to visit and likes to just sit in the chair with his arms hanging over and watching what’s happening. He is SUPER quiet about 90% of the time and then when he does make noise it’s the cutest little bird chirping noise. Mostly when he wants food & attention. He will be an amazing addition to a home that has lots of love to give to this amazing little cat. He is FELV positive meaning he has leukemia. PLEASE SHARE

Saturday was one of those days with many blessings. A day full of adoptions. 30 to be exact! 38 total for the week. With another day to go. Seeing people who adopted from us 16 years ago and their cat Magic is still living his best life. Now the daughter moving out on her own wanting her very own first kitty. Stetson the chosen one being adopted by this young lady who has been brought up to cherish their kitties. Couldn’t ask for a better home for a kitty that was on the eut...hanasia list because he had ringworm. Now having a life that will be treasured. A Vet student at Davis adopting a kitty that received 50 applications. Spent two hours with Bubbles making sure he was the perfect match. Being careful to choose a kitty that would love his dog in training to become a guide dog. A young 10 year old stating this was his best day ever. Choosing two kittens to join his family. Manisha an FIV+ adult who melted in the arms of her new Mom and Dad. The lady had a tear in her eye when I told her we had been waiting for her. Manisha has been longing for this day to come. So many adopters who were smitten with their choices. It brings so much joy to all involved that. A long 7 hour day where so many kitties will have their first Christmas in their forever homes. An amazing day to have so many kitties that were scheduled for euthanasia find their forever homes. So many fosters reaping the rewards and kudos that are so deserved for all the love and care that went into these sweet babes. A priceless kind of day that summed up to be life changing and heartfelt in so many ways for so many people and these beautiful kitties. A day surrounded with love and joy. My favorite kind of day where it’s hard to go to sleep. Because I’m living on the high of the day. So proud of all the volunteers that make this beautiful thing happen. With all these volunteers all these lives matter. Because of them these lives were saved and will live their best lives. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Pictured below is Abby who soaked up all the attention today. She melted on one lap resting her head on another’s knee. While being loved by three. Giving sweet kisses of affection. She is ready for her forever home. She turned up the charm and shined brightly. She’s still looking for her forever home but she enjoyed all the love that was poured upon her. Fluffy is an inquisitive kitten who loves to play! He adores his older foster brother and would probably do well with another cat or kitten to play with. In between adventures he is snuggly and has the softest fur ever (like an angora rabbit!). We love him and are constantly entertained by his antics.

Martian is a sweet playful kitten that has endless cuddles and purrs. He enjoys playing with his cat toys and loves to perch and sleep on the top of a cat post. He is very good with children and will make a great companion.

Apollo is a very playful kitten who is great with kids. He is a big purr machine enjoying lots of cuddle time and you will just melt with all the love! He enjoys chasing balls and play mice. Fun and super loving kitten!
