Hello everyone! As we are preparing for our upcoming production of Wizard of Oz, I wanted to share a few important reminders: 1. Auditions are Saturday, February 1st from 1-4pm at the Masonic Hall. The address is 1920 18th street. We will have curbside drop off and pick up as you enter through the west side parking lot. An adult will be there to check in your students as early as 12:45pm. Auditions are closed to anyone who is not participating in the show, but all other rehea...rsals will be open for parents/siblings to come watch. 2. Because of a severe food allergy, please send your students with only water. WMT will provide a snack for everyone that day. 3. For those who might be extremely nervous, please let your students know they will not be expected onstage alone at any time during auditions if they do not want a speaking role. In other words, ensemble roles will be auditioning in groups of 5 or more. 4. If your student is auditioning for a lead/speaking role, please have them prepare 30 seconds of a song they feel comfortable singing a-capella. For those who are auditioning for Dorothy, please have your daughter prepare to sing a portion of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" as their audition song. 5. Rehearsals will be every Tuesday/Thursday 3:30-5:30pm following auditions. Drop off will be as early as 3:15pm. A more detailed schedule will be posted on FB as we approach tech week and performances. 6. If you are an Inspire family, please submit your enrichment certificate by January 25th. If you are cash pay, a check for half will be due February 1st and the other half on March 1st. Whew! That was a lot of info!
