Sea Goddess Whale Watching

12/3-Today was very exciting! We were accompanied by a mom and calf pair of humpbacks who were very engaging with our boat! It seemed like they were feeding at the bottom and then continued to pop up (after a few minutes) right next to our boat! Just when we thought the trip couldn’t get any better, calf started to breach! We were lucky to see a front row view of about 5-6 breaches from this little calf. Very exciting! We also saw a couple more humpbacks way out in the distan...ce, making for a grand total of 4 whale sightings today! Thank you whales!!! 11/29- Another great day today! On our first trip, we watched a pair of humpback whales for quite a while and then stopped by the mile marker buoy to see some California sea lions, and a few southern sea otters too! On our second trip, we found a large pod of energetic Risso's dolphins jumping and tail throwing! 11/28 What a great day we had today! The weather was beautiful, and so were the whales! We got to see about 6-8 total humpbacks today, each unique and spectacular. We were also very lucky to have found our boat right in the middle of a massive, and very dispersed, pod of Risso's dolphins! We were absolutely surrounded by Risso's during most of our second trip today.
