We strive to make each project unique and provide show-stopping elements every time! In our Butterfly Beach project, we accomplished this with a beautiful one-off aluminum handrail, custom-designed by Neal Feay. This element runs the entire height of the three-story staircase. The organic shapes and precise lines bring movement and interest to every floor, and it pairs perfectly with the stunning walnut stairs by LegnoSystem pavimenti. WGA’s projects are always unique, always a journey, and not always straightforward. One of those projects in particular was a project located on Randall Road. WGA began the project back in 2016 and moved through permitting to start construction the day before the tragic Montecito debris flow. While fortunately our clients and everyone involved in the construction were unharmed, the house was a near-total loss with only portions of the structure still standing. You can imagine... how thrilled we were to have the project come back to us four years later with a neighbor looking to relocate that structure to their adjacent lot. Always loving a challenge, we excitedly agreed! This past week they finally began moving the pieces of the structure to be reconfigured and have a new life! While these photos do not have the same glitz and glam as our other projects, they are particularly exciting to us.
