I think Booty aka Bada** is glad to be reunited with her human after months of temporary separation until her family was settled in a home where it could have her back. Our organization gave the family free room and board in our mission to keep pets and family united.

I lost my Human in the country in Modesto! I was found on the 8000 block of W. Grayson Road. I am a sweet girl and love the shelter hospital team and staff fo...r assisting me yesterday. I came to the shelter yesterday with a fishing hook stuck in my lip. It was removed and I am feeling much better today. Puffy was reunited with his owner early this morning. He is now microchipped and happy to be home! We are still looking for the owners of the female German Shepherd he was found running around with.

This is a chart from Stanislaus Animal Services Agency recently. Notice the tiny orange bar that barely budges. That is the poor outcome for pets being returned to owners over the years. Microchip with registration, post on FB and other SM pages, check the shelters in your area, insist that shelter staff makes an effort to find and return particularly when owners can't afford fees and fines, etc. Some areas get that return to owner rate at 70%. We can do better.

Aubrey is our newest WAA family member. For 6 months she hung out at a church in Modesto but no one could catch her. It's going to take a bit of time for her to settle into family before she can be adopted. But she looks like a promising sweetie.

MALU Malu is a 2yr old male Malinois/Shepherd mix, 62lbs. Malu is housebroken, rides well in a vehicle, and is a good walker. Malu does well with adults, is cautious around children, can be dog reactive, and no cats.
