Since March, West Marin nonprofits have been coming together to work on a collective response to COVID-19. Since May, we've been working together to address systemic racism in our region. Together we drafted the West Marin Nonprofits Equity Statement - so far 44 organizations are on board! Check out the statement in English and Spanish, and the most recent list of signatures on our website: https://westmarinfund.org/joint-equity-statement/ #westmarin

The Census draws a sketch of our communities, and it’s up to us to complete it with the texture and color, to bring it to life. That’s why all children need to be counted in the 2020 Census. Read more: https://countallkids.org/immigrant-children-must-be-counted/ ... #WestMarin #Census2020

West Marin Fund’s commitment to a just and thriving West Marin means we stand against the racism that has oppressed Black lives for centuries. We grieve the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and the countless Black lives that have been taken due to police violence and unjust incarceration. We are committed to ending white silence and helping right the wrongs imposed by systemic racism. At this pivotal time, we believe Black leaders play a critical role... in enabling long-lasting change for the benefit of all. To demonstrate our solidarity and appreciation, we are making grants to the following organizations: The Movement for Black Lives California Black Women's Health Project Hunters Point Family Phat Beets Produce Moms 4 Housing Outdoor Afro Zaccho Dance Theatre #WestMarinFund for #RacialJustice

Marin’s parks are slowly opening - safety measures remain in place to maintain the health of visitors and residents, so be sure to follow social distancing and face covering guidelines! To keep you updated on which parks are open and under what conditions, Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and OneTam have partnered up to create an interactive map of what’s open and what restrictions are in place. Follow the link below to find out more: https://www.onetam.org/Marin_County..._Park_Closure_Map_Covid19 #westmarin
