After 7 hours of labor, Courtney wanted to get adjusted, before she had a natural birth!! You got this.

This is funny, but it's a great demonstration of how contractions are naturally SUPPOSED to happen. BUT, when labor is induced with medications, these wavelike contractions starting from the TOP of the uterus and progressively expelling the baby don't happen. Rather, the WHOLE uterus contracts at once, like in the beginning of the video (Braxton Hicks). This is WAY less efficient and more painful, plus, as the baby begins to move into and then out of the birth canal, the cont...inually contracting uterus actually HOLDS ON to the parts of the baby still inside the uterus, forcing the doctor to PULL on the baby's head and neck to get it out. THAT is what we call "birth trauma." The unfortunate thing is that many babies who were NOT induced are still pulled out of the womb because that is how the doctors get used to doing it. And THAT is why we recommend that ALL babies get checked by a qualified pediatric chiropractor as soon as possible after birth. See more

Dr Rupp is THE BEST. I have been to many chiropractors some great some not so great. No one has ever made it so simple and smooth, while getting desired results.
