Today is World AIDS Day, a day for raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic. The theme for the 2020 observance is Ending the HIV/AIDS Epidemic: Resilience and Impact. Testing is the essential first step to accessing treatment for HIV. Testing is fast, confidential and is as easy as a mouth swab or finger prick. For those of you who prefer face shields, please keep the following in mind. In order to best protect yourself from COVID-19, the proper way to wear a face shield would be with a face mask underneath. This will increase your chances of protecting yourself and others when you are in public areas.
