West Side Taphouse and Grill

I posted this earlier on my personal page. I’m not friends with everybody, so thought I should share this on the Westside page! Well, the time has come. The past 46 days have been an insane amount of stress, chaos, emotional insecurity and sadness. And, the past 15 years have been...well stressful and chaotic, but I’ve had a sense of accomplishment and successful balance. Obviously there were plenty of bumps in my 15 year road, but the road kept going whether it was a fre...eway, a 2 way, 1 way, windy or a dirt road... it kept going. I have reached a dead end now. I keep trying to look past the dead end sign to see if there is a small road to find but have had no luck. I have always looked at my life as one giant lesson. Everything negative that has happened, I learn from. Everything positive that has happened, I run with it and smile the whole way. Sometimes the negatives take time to learn from. I only hope that this negative will soon turn into a positive because the pain from it hurts. And, I know that there are so many positives that will come from this, it’s just going to take time for me to see. Today is the day that Westside has gone up for sale. I went from having a business that could’ve sold for over $200,000 to one that I’m begging to get $85,000 to basically break even with my debt. I am so thankful that my best friend/husband didn’t lose his job or income. If I didn’t have him, I’d be in serious trouble. I’m also thankful that our kids, parents and other important family members are financially ok right now. I know they say money isn’t everything, but damn it is a lot when you all of the sudden don’t have any!
