This is the pink lady #90. Driven by Larry Burton. If you notice, on the tow truck, the lift is made from wood. I was told by my pop that when towing the car up...hill to Auburn to race, and without a trailer with the rear tires on the ground, the old truck couldn't make the grade, and Burton would jump into the racecar and fire it to help push the tow truck up the hill. For 18 years I have had a celebration for the great times that me and my wife enjoyed going to the races at Kearney Bowl in Fresno, California. The celebration ...was for all the racing drivers,mechanics and pit crews that made the 1960 to 70 racing era so special to all that participated. I called it The Second Time Around which I coined from a friend and whose car I started with Joe Lobbia a farmer from Easton, California. With much regret Jo Ann and I and our family are postponing the 19th year’s celebration because of health concerns facing our nation. Jo Ann and I at this time want to protect all of our friends that attend our celebration. We will keep everyone informed when we have rescheduled. Jo Ann and I are very concerned for all of you and your health. If any of you know someone that’s not on Facebook please let them know our change in plans. Jim, Jo Ann and family Thank You. See more

Well the new norm, over 65 must stay home. But I have the greatest family both D'nyes, & Deborah plus my grandson Justin & Leslie all offered to do some food shopping for me. Thank you so much for thinking about me. Love you all.
