In this video, I discuss the most common va loan mistakes - avoid the headaches. I don’t mean headaches as if it is something wrong the VA borrowers are doing. The headache is because these are mistakes that happen over and over again and are super easy to prevent. if more real estate agents and VA lenders did took more initiative and get the information out there, these wouldn’t be happening. There are so many amazing places to live in San Diego. These are 7 of my favorites specifically for millennials. In this video, I cover the age old question of should you buy or rent a San Diego home. I go deep comparing the pros and cons of buying or renting a house (or a condo). My primary market is going to be San Diego but the fundamentals I’m going to discuss will apply in pretty much any market in the US. I’m going to show you why buying a home is not actually the best option in some cases. Here is a short list of questions you can answer that I came up with to help you determine ...if it’s the right time to buy a home: 1. Are you in debt? 2. Do you have a reserve or emergency fund set aside? 3. Do you have the funds for a cash down payment on a mortgage? 4. Are you planning to hold the home or condo for the short term or long term? If you answered no to any of those questions above, maybe it’s better to put your homeownership plans on hold until it’s a yes across the board. In my opinion, do not buy a home until you are financially ready. Period. I then cover the pros and cons of owning a home in San Diego. These probably apply to most markets in the country. I cover a couple scenarios were it might make sense to rent instead. I then hit on the pros and cons of renting instead of buying a home. All in, owning probably seems more expensive up front but when you look at the long term picture, owning your own property financially crushes renting. It’s a reliable and proven method to gaining wealth. Alrighty, that’s my take on whether to buy or rent a home, at least here in San Diego. I think you will find those principles will apply if you are in San Diego or any market for that matter. In this video, I am going to show you East Village In San Diego | Full Vlog Tour. I know the neighborhood of East Village as well as anyone, probably better than anyone. I walk you through not only the great parts, but we also visit the bad parts of this amazing community. I start off the vlog by walking the area around the area and blocks surrounding Petco Park by foot. I show you the best places to live, the best restaurants, the bars, and everything else that’s makes East... Village great. We stop by Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres. From there, we get a little rough and I hop on my backfire x2 ranger skateboard and tour the semi or up and coming parts of the neighborhood. My goal is to allow you to experience this amazing neighborhood and allow you to imagine yourself actually living here. I spend a ton of time in East Village (all of San Diego actually). I literally work, eat, sleep, play, and do everything in this neighborhood so I know it pretty well.
