Werkshack will be open 5-9pm on Friday 11/2. It’s going to be a special First Friday with less crowds because there won’t be vendors on Telegraph. It’s a great chance to connect with artists, new friends, and more! See you then!

This Friday is Art Murmur. Despite the fact that there will be no street vendors or street closure, the Werkshack and all the galleries will be open until 9pm, and looking forward to you all coming by. See you then!

We're so excited about our Werkshacker GDS Cloth Goods ! Geana has been making @ebbfilter for a couple of years in small batches and has decided to take a big step in her business. She's working with an American weaving mill to create a fabric from scratch using organic cotton from a farm in Texas. Her @kickstarter just went live so go check it out and support! Werkshack member GDS Cloth Goods is hosting an event this Thursday, 11/16 where you can learn more about Climate Beneficial Wool from Lani's Lana - Fine Rambouillet Wool, woven right here in California by Houston Textiles. We've been thinking about #safetyfirst here at the werkshack. For those operating out of warehouses in Oakland, check your fire extinguishers, check your exits (there should be at least TWO), check your hazardous materials storage and run some fire drills.
