Come take music lessons with us! We offer various instruments for all ages! Our month-to-month course is $33 per lesson, but if you want to save money you can pay 6 months in advance and get lessons for $25 each! Lessons are once a week and go for about half an hour. Attention all Members! Come by the Hall right now to hear Monty Byrom play in honor of our beloved Merle Haggard who we heartbreakingly lost this morning... Music has already began, ending time has not yet been decided. Hope to see you all here to pay tribute to the country music legend who we all loved so much. At the Bakersfield Music Hall of Fame

Rest in peace Merle Haggard. I saw Merle live at his 75th birthday party and he was so good. His kids use to take piano lessons from my Grandma. He was my favorite of all the Bakersfield musicians. He lived what Johnny Cash sung about. He was a legend. I was fortunate enough to get Merle to sign a '52 Tele Reissue that was just like the guitar he played.

Merle Haggard is in the hospital. Our prayers go out to him. He still tours some at age 78. He is a legend and helped put Bakersfield on the map.
