Some may look at this photo and see an every day ceremony. Others will stop and their heart may tug a little. . I’ve always carried the belief that there’s always a way. Back when this ceremony took place, Priests in CA could not come outside the church to perform ceremony. This couple, although one raised Buddhist and the other Catholic, wanted to honor both and carry modern beliefs that we can host ceremony together. Side by side, respectfully and with whole heart. ...And so...... the will lead to the way. We found a wonderful Priest from out of State and a Buddhist Monk from CA. Together, they delivered one of the most powerful and meaningful ceremonies I’ve ever witnessed. There wasn’t a dry eye, for some it was a disbelief this could ever happen and for all, the amount of heart and purpose and meaning, bringing two cultures together from past to present. What an incredible way to start a marriage!!! It’s an honor to be part of a couples vision and help make any vision come to fruition.
