Full Moon October 31, 2020 in Taurus "Rebel, Rebel" Leading up to a resounding crescendo, there will be a Full Blue Moon on Saturday, rising in the sign of Taurus. We call it a Blue Moon because it's the second Full Moon of the month and is as rare as it is powerful.... This Full Moon is extremely close to Uranus, which is the planet of change and revolution. Expect change, unrest, and anxiety. Exacerbating it all, Mercury, which has been in retrograde, stations direct on November 3, directly square Saturn. This doesn't bode well for the Presidential election being held the same day. The Lunar qualities of emotions and instincts reach their peak at the Full Moon. Use these qualities to overcome any challenges - don't let external pressures or inner turmoil drain your energy. So, we have the Full Moon almost exactly conjunct Uranus, and this will be a disruptive aspect for the next two weeks. It will make you feel nervous, restless, and anxious. This type of instability tends to make people volatile and rebellious, may lead to odd behavior, impulsive actions, and accidents.Temper tantrums are common as is emotional detachment, or checking out. Mercury Retrograde square Saturn brings seriousness, bad news, pessimism, and arguments. As noted above, Mercury stations direct on November 3, and can cause impatience and lack of concentration. My best advice for you would be to exercise patience and optimism. It may seem like that's an impossible task, but it brings opportunity along with the uncertainty. It's important to remember that all things eventually pass, and this will, as well. We recommend not deviating from your established patterns, as familiarity brings comfort. Rely on your strengths, compassion, and your friends. Get away, if you can, because this Moon does bode well for short journeys. Keep yourself busy and avoid indulgences. The Tarot card for this Moon phase is the 5 of Pentacles, and the healing crystal you'll need is Malachite with Chrysacolla. Be well, my friends, and blessed be.

We'd like to introduce Tiffany McGraw of Detroit-based company @paperrehab! You know we like to buy locally, but Tiffany's beautifully poignant cards are special - we've already had to reorder! Let's take a look at what her website says about her cards and her inspiration: "Detroit based graphic designer/illustrator, Tiffany McGraw, has been honing her skills as a graphic designer and artist for the past 11 years. Originally a journalist, Tiffany combined her desire to hig...hlight what’s missing and needed in the world with her love of art to create a stationery line that reflected the diversity that she felt was missing in the greeting card industry and also highlight the need to help remove the stigma surrounding mental health especially among women of color. Paper Rehab is Inspired by all the amazing women in our lives, our message seeks to celebrate, cultivate, restore and heal relationships. We want to promote healing, compassion, support, and a spirit of sisterhood that can be counted on no matter what. We offer cards for every occasion, rejoicing in the best of times and coming together to offer condolences in times of sorrow and loss. If there is something you are feeling or a relationship you are looking to restore or heal, that you’d like to express but can’t seem to find the words, there’s a good chance we have a card that can help you speak your truth. We’re here to help you share your love with the world."
