Sophia Aguilar #9 - Pitcher Favorite memories are all of the team sleepovers and dinners I plan to continue to play softball at COC for 2 years and then transfer to a University... My greatest accomplishment was making Varsity my sophomore year. My advice to younger athletes is to work hard, have fun & never give up! I want to thank all 4 of my coaches for their hard work & time they put into us and also my parents for their support. Dear Sophia, Where has the time gone! I still remember dropping you off on your 1st day of Kindergarten, how excited you were to start school and meet new friends. We are looking forward to the next chapter of your life, to continue playing the sport you love, and have been so dedicated to since the age of 9, at College of the Canyons. Stay crazy, kind and the hard worker you are. We love you, and are proud of the young lady you have become! Love Dad, Mom, Micayla and Mia.

Erynn Morales #21 - Catcher Favorite Memory were the team sleepovers. I plan to attend Grand Canyon University to get my degree in nursing... My greatest accomplishment is being a 4 year letterman and a 3.8 GPA. My advice to younger athletes is to play every game like it’s your last. I want to thank my parents and coach Scott, Big Steve and Small Steve.

Exy Jimenez #11 - Shortstop/Outfield One of my favorite memories was when we had a camp for the little ones and everyone got to have a buddy to help. I planning on going to COC four years of transferring out... My greatest accomplishment was sophomore year when my whole outfield got the most valuable player award My advice to younger athletes would be to Never give up without trying I want to thank my family and coaches for not giving up on me and everyone who has supported me and my team.

Taylor Mathiesen aka T-Money #5 - 2nd Base Favorite memory-when we won the Antelope Valley Tournament when I was on JV. Plans to go- I will be attending CSU Long Beach and plan on majoring in nursing.... Greatest accomplishment-winning defensive player of the year my sophomore year on JV. Advice to younger athletes- always do your best, but have fun and be positive. In my words - I want to thank my mom and dad for supporting me through all my years of softball. They put in as much time as I did and I appreciate their support and dedication to my playing softball. Thank you to all my coaches as they have been the best coaches I’ve ever had. They pushed all of us to be our best and I think we really would’ve had a chance at going to playoffs this year because of their amazing coaching and my amazing teammates. Thank you for everything Canyon Softball. I will never forget these years and memories I had in this program!

Aubrey McKessy #24 - Right Field Favorite memory- When I got my first hit and the dugout chanted she plays soccer. Plans to go to Cal State Monterey Bay to continue my education and play soccer.... Greatest accomplishment- getting the opportunity to come into the season late and playing with such a great team my senior year! And hitting a home run off the tee at practice! Advice to younger athletes- don’t limit yourself to one sport, I think its important to focus on your main sport but try something new to challenge yourself and make high school memorable! In my words- I would like to thank the coaches for giving me a chance to play softball my senior year and I would like to thank the team for welcoming me with open arms and making me feel a part of the softball family and of course my parents for always supporting me and being my number 1 fans

Giselle Macias #48 - Right Field Favorite memory- My favorite memory at Canyon softball was being able to go on the field to play softball with my teammates. I plan to attend COC, then transfer out to a University to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice... Greatest accomplishment at Canyon Softball - My greatest accomplishment at Canyon Softball was creating a great bond with my teammates and having a great season. Advice to younger athletes is to set your goals high and do not stop till you get there. But remember to always have fun.

Sierra Rave #7 - 3rd Base Favorite memory is dancing with the team before game time. I plan to go onto college and study to become a police officer. ... My greatest accomplishment at canyon softball was how I would recover after a mistake. Advice I would give to a young athlete is to start young and if they are weak in an area it is up to them to put in work to improve, I would also tell them don’t doubt yourself just play your game.

Skylar Sabetta #77 - Centerfield Favorite memory: Every team sleepover and beating Valencia sophomore year Plans to go to: Santa Barbara City College ... Greatest accomplishment: Starting my freshmen year on Frosh and finishing my senior year on varsity as the starting center fielder with a .400 batting average. Advice to younger athletes: To win on the field means to win at the mental game. Understanding the game inside out, staying in control of your body, and staying confident under pressure is key.

My greatest accomplishment in Canyon Softball is getting MVP sophomore year Advice to younger athletes play every practice and every game like it’s your last because you never know when it actually will be. In my words, Canyon Softball is a family and forever will be a family to me. I’ve met so many amazing lifelong friends and learned many life lessons. After having a good or bad day, walking out on that field every day and being a part of not only Canyon Softball but Team 48 always made everything better. It was my get away from reality. Dear Crazzzy Lyndz, words cannot express how proud we are of you and all your accomplishments. Your dedication not only to your education & athletics but to your friends, family and mostly to being your true self is amazing and inspiring. Never stop being who you are, striving for your goals and being a leader. Being a single mom hasn't been easy but its been an absolute pleasure being your Mom and working side by side with you to have all of our adventures and reach your goals.
