Wayfarer Farm is a full-service training, sales and show barn in Bonsall, North County San Diego. We regularly compete, from local shows to A shows up and down the West Coast and east into NM, CO, and AZ. We are a low-key, family-friendly, drama - free barn and can help you with any goal you may have for you and your horse, whether simply improving at home or showing competitively on local or A circuit. We have full board and training packages starting at $700/mo.... We just recently upgraded our ring footing to a sand/rubber/textile mix similar to the top show facilities. We include EVERYTHING: -Free choice grass and/or alfalfa Hay, we do not charge extra if your horse needs an extra flake at lunchtime. -we are proud to feed the Hygain Feeding Champions US products; in consultation with our Hygain partners, we will devise a feeding regimen for your horse to best suit his metabolic and performance needs. There is NO additional charge for grain feeding -psyllium supplement 1wk/mo for sand clearance -NO DAILY TRAINER FEE AND NO CHARGE FOR HAULING TO SHOWS (if we are also going to same show) Our philosophy is why would we charge you an additional fee if you are already our in-house client? What will we tell you at the show that we have not already discussed at home? -no handling fee for vet farrier chiro etc -no charge for daily blanketing as weather requires (additional charge applies for clipping) -we have 7 large turnout paddocks, EVERY horse gets out for a minimum of 4 hours per day -one of our favorite features is our Vitafloor North America 5-Horse walker. EVERY horse in our program is carefully introduced to the walker and then slowly built up to 5 days/wk to build base- line fitness. Our horses go to shows and barely sweat -we take all of our horses out on trail at least once/wk, incorporating both hills for fitness and beautiful flat trails for a change of scenery and to keep their minds fresh -we offer consignment sales and shopping services for those folks looking for their next equine partner -our team includes riders who have competed internationally at Grand Prix level and riders with a strong dressage/flatwork background to improve ride ability Please contact us today to see if our facility and program meets your needs!

Al’s first show, a fantastic learning experience, especially with all starts and stops due to Covid. We are all so excited about this special horse and his bright future! Our young stallion The Wayfarer (there’s actually a typo in his book right now I need to sort out!) made the top 10 of the virtual Dublin Horse Show for 3 year olds. Tom and Heather had planned to be in Ireland this summer to see him compete live at the show, but, well, 2020. It was fun to do the virtual class but tough for all the breeders and producers who had top youngsters this year and no where to go. I guess we are all making do. He was bred and currently being pro...duced by James Joyce. James also stands his sire, Garryduff Jar of Hearts who just came 4th with two double clear rounds in the Connaught league Grand Prix two weeks ago, his first outing since, well, who can remember! We are excited for his future. We had a beautiful filly foal born last night in Garryduff. By our stallion The Wayfarer, joins his first colt born 2 weeks ago out of a TB mare. This little girl has some powerhouses behind her; Heartbreaker and Taloubet Z on top, Douglas and Cavalier Royale on the bottom. But right now she’s just trying to figure out how to work those long skinny things attached to her body . Both our stallion and his sire, Garryduff Jar of Hearts are standing at Garryduff in Co.
