Wax Museum r.i.p

So we have been wildly searching for a place to throw a show for the past two months and in return received no emails, no phone calls back, or much help. As a DIY venue this was a little upsetting to us. BUT, maybe you guys can help. I'm frantically searching for a place to throw a show Friday in the greater LA area for two touring bands that are in need of a spot to play. If you have a house or a garage or know of another venue that can help us out please let us know! We would appreciate it very much. Netherfriends and Chipper Jones!

Dear Wax Museum supporters, volunteers, show goers and bands. I know a lot of rumors have been going around that we are shut down, we are here to tell you that that is not the case. We are forcefully being told to take a hiatus due to troubles with the owner of the property Wax Museum is located on. The issue goes a little deeper than just a forceful "cease and desists" but we find the better solution is to just stop shows/relocate all shows for June. We are currently in the ...works of getting a brand new space and will be back up and running very,very soon. This has come very sudden for the creators of The Wax Museum and we couldn't apologize more for the inconvenience that this has created. The last thing we want you guys to think is that we'd just give up after wrongfully being kicked out of the current location. We immediately started looking for new places and like we said, we will be back up and running in no time. We are looking to relocate every show till the end of the month and are still booking for July. This obviously has put a slight hold on everything but we are trying our best.
