Waxing & Skin Care by Crickett 25.02.2021

My friends, Yesterday was a somber day for many licensed beauty professionals in the state of California. ESTHETICIANS WERE MOVED TO PHASE 4 REOPENING!! I am thinking that that Governor Newsom has never had a facial or experienced freshly waxed bits before or he would understand how essential we are (kidding, but not really kidding). He will certainly need one or both when all of this is over. ... Yes, I'm receiving numerous requests each DAY asking if I can schedule appointments again or when I'll be able to start back at the spa. I truly don't know at this time, however you can help me by contacting him to let him know it's time to let Licensed Estheticians return to work......NOW! Here is the link to send him an email. Put under the subject "COVID-19". https://govapps.gov.ca.gov/gov40mail/ All you have to do is say, "Dear Govenor Newsom, my Esthetician is an essential business and I have waited 3 months without receiving the treatments that I want and need. She has extensive training in sanitation and disinfection, just as hair stylists and barbers who are now allowed to work. Please consider allowing Licensed Estheticians/Spas to reopen with, of course, the requirement that they follow the state's health mandates California board of regulations Article 12 that states estheticians are licensed and have had required training to implement and maintain the Health and Safety Rules." Then maybe thank him for listening. Feel free to also include a governor appropriate pic of your HAIRY BUSH so he can fully comprehend the facts Hope to see your happy faces soon! Crickett .

Good morning all! Though Estheticians have not been released to go back to work yet, I have been preparing and keeping up on all of the new safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure that we are all protected as much as possible. We were trained on infectious disease control in school and tested on it for our licensing, so it's nothing new. We just have to add additional precautions and be aware of different things as we learn more and more about Covid-19 and how it is tr...ansmitted. Seems like the information changes daily. But no matter what, please know that I will continue to provide a safe environment when we are able to be back in the treatment room. Just to show off what I've been doing! Stay safe and well, and try not to tweeze your brows. :)

In the state of California under the Laws and regulations of our License, we are not permitted to work when sick (contagious) or receive clients when they are sick (contagious). I'm confident that they will now add Covid-19 to the list in the future. This is from our CA Laws and Regulations: 984. Disease and Infestation... (a) No establishment...shall knowingly permit a licensee...afflicted with an infection...capable of being transmitted to a client to serve clients ... (b) No establishment...shall knowingly require or permit a licensee...to work on a client with an infection...capable of being transmitted to the licensee.... (c) Infections...capable of being transmitted between licensee and client include, but are not limited to: Cold, influenza or other respiratory illness accompanied by a fever, until 24 hours after resolution of the fever. Strep throat, until 24 hours after treatment has been initiated, and 24 hours after resolution of fever. Pink eye, until examined by a physician and approved for return to work. Whooping cough, until five days of antibiotic therapy has been completed. Chicken pox, until the sixth day after onset of rash or sooner if all lesions have dried and crusted. This story is an all too real example of why these rules are put in place.

Meet some of my fellow Estheticians. We are all making it work during these difficult times when we can’t be in the treatment room servicing our clients. We have all created virtual offerings that anyone anywhere can take advantage of. If you like what they have to offer, go to their website and get in touch. We appreciate your support.
