Just a couple miles up Hatchet Creek from Lion Slide Falls is this one, Lion Wash Falls
There are some places I will never forget and there are places that make me feel more alive, that replenish my soul. This is that place for me. From the first moment my dad and I found it, to the last trip I may ever take there in Autumn 2019, it has been nothing short of magic. It’s places like these that show me how beautiful this world is. How even though we can be at our worst, these places can make us feel our best. I am forever grateful to nature for saving my life so many times

One of the better places in this world Deadhorse Creek, Lyonsville, California #throwbackthursday
Just wanted to post this shot from last year at the same place i just was. Last year was a very bad year for rain but it’s even worse now. There was twice as much water this time a year ago. Hopefully more storms roll through and give us some much needed precipitation

Pearsoney Falls
Mill Creek Falls
Made it to the bottom of Mill Creek Falls yesterday. The main trail isn’t designed for people to go below, but with some well placed ropes and some careful climbing, the bottom is reachable

The last of my shots of Wildwood Falls. It’s also my favorite #waterfallwednesday
Another shot of Wildwood Falls on Deer Creek. Such a nice surprise to see so much water. It’s a rare sight this time of year. It was good to spend some time with Jason Tackitt as well
Wildwood Falls on Deer Creek The last creek standing
Wildwood Falls We were here at the perfect time. I expected a low flow waterfall, but they are lowering lake levels in preparation for winter, so it was the last ripping creek in NorCal
