Thanks to Morgan Run Club & Resort, our warriors recently enjoyed a beautiful day of golf, camaraderie and great times! Morgan Run graciously hosted 16 service ...members on their picturesque golf course in Rancho Santa Fe, surrounded by majestic hills and rolling greens. Now more than ever, it’s important to get outside and enjoy the healing benefits of physical activity and the outdoors. Golf is one of the most popular activities for our warriors, and it was truly a one-of-a-kind experience to be able to golf at Morgan Run! See more

Warrior Foundation Freedom Station appreciates all the VOLUNTEERS and DONORS who love our military and COUNTRY as we do.

Good things are cooking at Freedom Station I, thanks to the generosity of Las Patronas! This amazing philanthropic organization provided us with grant funding ...to build a wheelchair-accessible barbecue and outdoor kitchen for our warrior residents. A BBQ represents much more than just a place to cook food. The experience of breaking bread together is a healing and bonding experience, drawing soldiers, sailors and Marines out of their individual cottages to enjoy a hot meal together. Freedom Station residents and the Wolfpack wheelchair basketball team recently got together for a big cookout and had a fantastic time. Thank you again Las Patronas for taking care of our warriors. Our gratitude also goes to Andrew Brothers Electric for donating their services to this incredible project!

Warrior Foundation Freedom Station sends a heartfelt THANK YOU to Señor Grubby's for hosting two back-to-back anniversary celebrations benefiting our foundation! Owner Justin Jachura, Darby Suval, and their entire staff worked so hard to create these incredibly fun nights at their restaurants in Carlsbad and Oceanside, with amazing food, live auctions and entertainment. So many San Diegans came out to support ill and injured warriors, have a great time, and participate in the... liveliest auction we've ever seen - talk about a battle! We were heartened and overwhelmed by the generosity shown by these guests. This is the fifth year in a row that Señor Grubby's has done this for us, and they shattered all previous fundraising records. Thanks to their contributions, we can continue serving the men and women who serve our country. It's no surprise that restaurants have been among the hardest-hit this year. In choosing to give back to their community, Señor Grubby's is such an amazing example of philanthropy and will forever be part of the Warrior Foundation Freedom Station family! We were honored to host the Blue Angels Foundation for a visit to Freedom Station II last Friday. Comprised of former members of the United States Navy Flight D...emonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels Foundation has been an invaluable supporter of Warrior Foundation Freedom Station for nearly a decade. As they took in the grounds at Freedom Station II, they saw what their contributions helped to build a home of the brave for the men and women who have served our country with pride and honor. Veterans never lose the spirit of service; they continue to help their fellow warriors. We are so grateful to the Blue Angels Foundation for their contributions as we continue to provide injured warriors with hope, a home, and a chance to start the next chapter of their lives with the honor and dignity befitting the world’s finest fighting forces. Happy Birthday Navy! The U.S. Navy was founded on 13 October 13, 1775, and the Department of the Navy was established on April 30, 1798. The mission of the Navy is to maintain, train and equip combat-ready naval forces capable of winning wars, deterring aggression and maintaining freedom of the seas. Today, the U.S. Navy has 337,517 personnel on active duty, 102,003 personnel in the Navy Reserve, and 282,121 civilian employees.

Catching up with my former Command Chief from Wounded Warrior Battalion - West, Aaron Seibert and his lovely wife Robin at their airbnb, the "Patriot House" in South Lake Tahoe. Aaron was severely wounded by an enemy mortar round in Iraq in 2006 and has done awesome in his recovery and as a strong advocate for our wounded, ill, and injured warriors. This is another stop on our outdoor therapy tour. 7 warriors will flyfish the East Carson river today. More pictures (with fish I hope) to follow.
