As most of you know a California live-aboard dive boat we have charted many times suffered a fire and sank off the Channel Islands early this morning. It appears we may have lost several of our diving brothers and sisters. Our heart aches and our thoughts are with the families of the missing as we hope for the best.

Don't listen to the propaganda. Sharks are not killed by anglers because they are 'good eating' or 'great grilled' or 'we feed them to the homeless' - the overr...iding reason that sharks are killed is that they have a ferocious reputation and large, sharp teeth that make for a striking selfie for social media. WHEN enough people complain, make a fuss, expose this narcissistic, wasteful slaughter by a small minority of certain people then killing sharks for 'sport' WILL become socially unacceptable. If you want to help us to protect sharks then join us in challenging these images wherever you see them.
