Today was just one of those blahhhhh days where we just needed to have cookies for breakfast. Then I blasted @jimmyeatworld in the car and it brought me back to my awkward junior high days and then I felt better about being an adult. Cuz adulting is hard but dang...being an awkward 12 year old going thru hormones and all the feelings was actually a lot harder. So here’s to hoping I can help my little crazies thru their awkward puberty years but thank God it’s not for awhile .

We are all broken. That’s how the light gets in. -Hemingway I dunno who needs to hear this but these perfect little squares that may show little snippets into someone’s life does not represent their life as a whole. We are all imperfect people trying to navigate our lives the best way we can. It’s ok to ask for help. Be kind to yourself. Give yourself grace. Let others love on you. We did the pumpkin patch thing and even went extra crazy and did the corn maze thing and to top it all off, we launched apples to hit targets. So after Halloween, the Shokairs can cross off that we did Fall #basic

I rarely take my kids anywhere now since Covid and so when I needed to pick up my incredible @ellarosefarm roses, Judah was more than excited to tag along and help #judahDS

Here we go! Ben’s second first day of school! He was so excited to go back and see all of his friends and classmates that he was already dressed and ready to go by 5:45 AM! I had all the feels as I dropped him off. Mixed emotions of anxiousness (dear God I pray he doesn’t get covid ) and excitement for him. Anyways, so proud of this kid. Love him big time! #benjaminDS

I get to flower again this week and I feel so grateful // for so many that have lost their job, had to get a second job, adapt to a new work situation, or get creative in how to make your small business be sustainable...I see you. These are little rainbow cloud cookies that I made for Mykah’s birthday. Also I’m starting to plan what cookies I wanna make for Christmas! Too soon? If Costco can put out Christmas trees in September than I can start planning for Christmas!

Big milestones over here in the Shokair Haus! Ben finally lost his first tooth last night and his second one this morning while he was suppose to be working on an online assignment.
