Hi friends, Some members of the VUSD Alternative Education Task Force (not me) have been invited to tour the Waldorf School of Santa Barbara. Maybe there’s still hope.
Hi friends, I’ve done my best to communicate our wish for a public Waldorf school at the Alternative Education Task force, but it’s not looking like it’s done much good. The Task Force organizers said they would be organizing a visit to a Waldorf school over the summer but didn’t follow through on that. It seems apparent to me that they aren’t interested in starting Waldorf school.
The magic of first grade! We are so excited to welcome our first grade families to the grades on Tuesday morning! #daviswaldorf #waldorfeducation
School started one week ago with our traditional Rose Ceremony where the incoming First Graders are greeted with a rose from one of the seniors. At the Honolulu Waldorf School, Festivals are a regular part of the rhythm of the school year.

Don’t forget about this great space still available. St. Paul’s is holding a meeting of community leaders on Tuesday 6/18 at 11:30 a.m. to discuss community uses for the church. Anyone interested in attending?
Friends, help me out by answering these two questions by commenting/DMing/emailing: What’s wrong with the options currently offered by Ventura USD? How would a Waldorf-inspired program meet you child’s/family’s needs?
The next meeting of the task force will be on May 29th. I would like to bring as much data supporting Waldorf education as possible, can I get some help with this? Let’s plan on meeting this coming Tuesday or Wednesday evening so we can organize ourselves and I can answer any questions you might have about the task force. Let me know if you are available; Sonia and I are looking for a space to meet. P.S. Thanks to Sonia Kroth for helping me organize my thoughts this morning and find a place to meet!
I'm excited to read this: "Growing a Waldorf-Inspired Approach in a Public School District" https://edpolicy.stanford.edu//scope-report-waldorf-inspir
Hi Friends! So I'm officially on the task force for the Ventura Unified School District. The goal is to create a new alternative education program or school for the district by October 2020. So my question to you is, should that program/school be Waldorf-inspired? Is a public Waldorf school what you want? Tell me!
