Feeding your dog scraps from your plate while you are eating will encourage your furry pal to beg whenever they see any human with a plate in hand. Once you're done eating, put the food and plates away, and then go into a different area to reward your pet. It's always fun to feed our dogs high value rewards like left-over turkey, but make sure the context is appropriate and you are not accidentally rewarding poor behaviors!
