Attached is the video from our semesterly professional development event, Math Forward! Enjoy and share it with your friends who might be interested in inquiring about it in the future!

This week, the SAMbassadors will be conducting outreach on Thursday at the Academy for Academic Excellence in Apple Valley at 11:23am and the Mojave River Academy in Victorville at 1:30pm. If you know of any student attending there that would like to hear our presentation, encourage them to come join us!

The time is approaching for you students to start registering for your next semester classes! If you need any help choosing your next math class, refer to the Math Pathways paper or contact us for further assistance!

Remember to visit the Math Success Center in the Advanced Technology Center (building 21) room 146 for all of your math tutoring needs! Open Monday-Friday from 9am-5:30pm.

Welcome back to school students! All of us here in the SAM Grant department hope you enjoyed your Spring Break, and hope the rest of the semester is as successful as the first half. Did you know? There is a website dedicated to helping students understand which of their classes will transfer to the colleges that they are wanting to go to. If you are in need of some help with that, go visit http://www.assist.org/web-assist/welcome.html and check to see if the college you want to transfer to has a partnership with the classes offered here at VVC.
