VVC Communication Center 31.10.2020

Victor Valley College's first "Ask the President" virtual event will be held via Zoom on October 1st, 2020 at 4 p.m. and all VVC students are welcome and encouraged to participate. VVC Superintendent/President Dan Walden is hosting a webinar for current VVC students. The purpose of this webinar is to provide important updates and information, and to answer your questions. The panel of experts will be sharing and answering students' questions on such topics that will include b...ut won't be limited to: Financial Aid, CARES Act, Instruction, Student Services, Tutoring, Counseling, EOPS, and Online Registration via Navigate. * $25 vouchers for the Rams Bookstore will be awarded to ten (10) students who submit questions and attend the Zoom meeting. For Valentine’s Day, Children’s Hospital of LA has an annual event where people can send Valentine’s Day cards to their patients to make their day a little extra special. (For free) For each card sent, Party City has pledged to donate $1 to CHLA, up to $25,000. https://secure1.chla.org//SPageNaviga/2019_Valentines.html... What would be the best 'medium' (method) to communicate with students? To be fair, why not provide lunch and ask about 50 students "How can VVC better communicate with students?" and "What is the best way to make sure you have the information you need?" SO WE ARE ...... On Thursday, June 13th @ 10am - 3pm, join us for lunch in the Student Activities Center (Bldg 44). Your voice is important. Allow it to be heard. Student Communication Forum has been scheduled while classes are not in session, to allow a greater number of students to participate.
