Hello dancers! New info about dance classes in May ******* We hope that you are doing well and staying safe at home. We know how hard this shelter has been for many of you, and we personally can’t wait to get back out and dance again! In the meantime, we are doing virtual classes via Zoom so that we can keep learning! *********** If you missed our first month of classes in April, don’t worry, May is right around the corner and we’ll be starting a brand new series! Our f...eatured dance for the month of May will be Salsa This will be a beginner level progressive series class...no experience needed! And the best part; it can all be done in your living room/kitchen/dining area/garage...the list goes on. Class is held every Friday night at 7pm, directly from our living room to yours If you’d like to join in, leave a comment below or message me directly. I will give you the information and Zoom ID to join the class. Oh and classes are free to join! What a wonderful weekend of competing and dancing! This was the first NDCA competition for my student Alexia, and the first time for Elizabeth Thomson dancing as a leader! I’m so thankful for the opportunity to dance with both these ladies and show what dance equality looks like. We had a great time this weekend in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Dance Finale! Karl Grothman danced really well with some new choreo, we sported our new team jackets, and even had a little time to explore Vegas! Thanks to Elizabeth Thomson and Gio for being our cheerleaders and instigators of fun

Happy New Year Dancers! I hope you all had a fabulous holiday and are ready for a new year of dancing and learning! Most of you know I teach now I’m both Oakland and Brentwood - for those of you in the Brentwood Area, or know anyone looking for dance classes in the Brentwood area, we are now starting brand new Ballroom Dance classes starting in January of 2019! Ballroom 101 classes will be held twice a month at the Red Door Dance Studio in Downtown Brentwood, each one featu...ring an easy and fun Ballroom or Latin Dance! Group lessons are a great way to learn basic patterns, a new dance, and meet other dancers. After the class, there will be a practice party to give you the opportunity to practice what you learned in class, and feel what it’s like to dance in a social setting. Light refreshments will be served, and of course I will be there to help out with dance questions, and social dance with students!
